Was planning to post this song right after services this morning. We sang this song during a wonderful time of worship. I’m so glad I didn’t though, because now, I get to share a beautiful time spent this evening with two precious sisters in the Lord. A friend was visiting from out of state and I had the chance to connect and catch up with her and another friend over some wine and cheese and good cheer. Silly me, thought I was going to spend time refreshing and encouraging my friend, but it was I who came away encouraged and refreshed.
The evening started with community group and a time of fellowship and encouragement. We talked about being honest with God and ourselves and creating an environment of safety to be open and honest and letting God work within that environment.
I then drove from Modesto to Oakdale to visit with my friends and what a blessing it was. The friend in whose home we met has a daughter that plays the harp and she played three short beautiful pieces for us. I love the harp and was mesmerized and thrilled to hear her daughter perform. We three then just sat and talked and caught up with one another and it was a God-blessed time to open hearts and share and speak into each others lives. Actually, they were speaking into my life and I came away challenged and greatly encouraged and refreshed and grateful for such good friends.
This song speaks perfectly to the conversations of the day.
Lord I find You in the seeking
Lord I find You in the doubt
And to know You is to love
And to know so little elseI need You
Oh how I need You
Oh how I need You
Oh how I need YouLord I find You in the morning
Lord I seek You every day
And let my life be for Your glory
Woven in Your threads of graceLight glorious light
I will go where You shine
Break the dawn, crack the skies
Make the way bright before me
In Your light, I will find
All I need, all I need is You"Oh How I Need You"
