Sufjan Stevens has a new album coming out on the 13th, a Christmas album.  Some of the songs are traditional, some not so much.  This one is not so much, but it’s quite beautiful.  This video is also quite touching.

I remember hearing this song when it first came out a few years back.  Loved it then.  Been hearing it lately, so looked it up and found this video.  Still love it.  

Time.  With all that’s gone on lately… I’ve been thinking about time…  reversing it, accelerating it, stopping it.  Then I came upon this video and realized I need to just be “present.”  It’s not a song…?  So?

I really like the Avett Brothers’ latest album, “The Carpenter.”  And I just realized I haven’t shared this song yet from that album.  There’s a brief interview of the brothers that starts the video where they talk about the development of the album.  It’s pretty cool.  

Feist has a new video out of this song, but after watching it and then watching this one, I like this one better.  The new one is ok, but I just like the “live” version better than the staged one.  My opinion.  The song’s good either way, though.
