Day Four(ish): The Next Right Thing

My granddaughter LOVES the Frozen movies. What little girl doesn’t right now? Charis went to see Frozen 2 with her cousin, Valentina, and, of course, they HAD to dress in Anna and Elsa gowns. And, also of course, when we arrived at the theater, EVERY other little girl was dressed as either Elsa or Anna. It was truly adorable, all these little princesses running around. And the movie… It was good! I loved Frozen, but have to admit, I think I like Frozen 2 better. I love the story, the songs, a perfect ending.

I bought the movie when it was released and we have watched it several times. By several, I mean every day… Fortunately, I really enjoy the songs.

“Into the Unknown” Awesome!

“Show Yourself” So good!

This song seems somewhat appropriate considering the dark times wherein we find ourselves. It speaks to me on so many different levels. I have dealt with shades of depression over the years and have found myself asking many of the questions that Anna asks in the song. And that tiny voice does speak into those dark times. Wake up. Get up. “Take a step. Step again.”

I think we need to do that now. Take that step. Do the next right thing. And it’s possible that everything will never be the same again, but that can’t stop us from doing the next right thing.
