Yes, I shared a "version" of this the other day to memorialize the passing of Keith Emerson. Today, I share a more classical variation to… memorialize the plight of the common man in the midst of this election season, this time on earth, today. It could be that I'm preparing to welcome a baby girl to the family and my season of life has made me more "concerned" for the state of the world and the "time" that she is entering. I love her not having held her yet and that love seeks to "protect" her from the cruelty of this season of the world. But I know there is Someone whose love is greater and who, though He may not be safe, is Good. And having seen that Good at work in my life, time and time and time again, I trust it… that it will continue to be Good… and I am at peace.
