I said I would share more of her. Have been listening to songs from Basia Bulat's newly released album, Good Advice. And here's some good advice, you should get this album. Her sound is just fascinating.
Just found out she's performing here in L.A., but it's the night before I go see Darlingside! Any other time, I would go ahead and buy a ticket to go see her, but that means another weeknight out and about and I do have to work… Besides, I'm already taking a day off after seeing Darlingside… Sad to say, it takes longer to recover from all-nighters than it did back in the day…
Nevertheless, if you're in the L.A. area on March 1, go see Basia at the Bootleg Theater.
