I mentioned in an earlier post that I have found a new church here in Santa Clarita. I wasn't too worried about a job when I moved here, and I already knew people, so I felt OK with all of that, but I did have concerns with finding another church like the church I left in Modesto (I miss them still). I know it sounds silly that I was worried about that because I know God is able to find a fellowship for me here. He has provided for me time and time and time and time and time and time again. I could go on and on with that statement, you know.
I've mentioned before that my life story should be a cautionary tale… but I think… it could also be… a life that can testify to God's faithfulness when we are so very unfaithful. This journey is not about our faithfulness. It's about His faithfulness to fulfill His promises in Philippians 1:6 and John 6:37 and John 10:28 among so many others. I stumble, I fall, but He picks me up and we continue on. He is continuing His work in me and it includes finding another church for me because fellowship is part of journey. Frodo had his fellowship and it was necessary for him to fulfill his mission. Fellowship is necessary. God is able. And I am so glad for that.
