Rocket to the Moon

Started looking back through my music list and also, sadly, discovered that I've never shared Jim Brickman's music. How can that be??

I learned of his music from my friend, Debbie. I had just moved to Oakdale following the breakup of my marriage. I bought this album, No Words, and the first song was Rocket to the Moon.  I listened to it and I had no words… I was hooked!  I still get goosebumps when I hear it.  Can almost remember when I first heard it… in the little townhouse where my daughter and I first lived in Oakdale. I would play the album over and over. It soothed, comforted, made me happy at a time when I wasn't that happy.  I still play the album, along with all the others that I have purchased over the years.  Any time I saw that he'd produced an album, I'd go look for it and buy it.

I have a 5-CD player and on weekends will load it up with all Jim Brickman or Will Ackerman or Enya and play it while I'm puttering around the place, cleaning, straightening or just sitting and listening.  Coffee or wine are usually involved depending on the time of day…
