Pain and suffering abounds this season. My heart breaks for Pakistan and Australia. I grieve alongside friends over lost loved ones. Everywhere I look, I see brokenness. We are desperate for relief. We long for salvation from this dispair. That the morning would come with its joy to relieve us of this long night of tears.
The first song reflects that pain. The second song offers solace that the morning will bring. That glorious morning.
