Not sure why I let blocks of days go by earlier this year without bothering to go back and find songs to fill them in. Well, I probably do know why… I was distracted, distraught, dismayed, whatever it was at the time that kept me from focusing on the music.
It’s been a year… or four. I tell myself that I will share the events eventually, but not yet. They are in need of distance and time to be fully and truly understood and articulated. And without understanding, I cannot give a profitable articulation.
Not sure, either, why I haven’t shared Damien Rice before… He has a new album out so am sharing a couple of songs from it. I do enjoy his music. It’s lovely… music that fits my moods.
