I may have said it before, but I’ve no problem saying it again and again. I have loved the Lord of the Ring trilogy from the first time I read the books as a young adult. I’ve read them repeatedly over the years, each time, learning more about this wondrous world that JRR Tolkien created. I found my name in his appendices and its meaning which I have used many these long years. elda… of the stars.
I heard this song on Pandora and had to share it. Now this song pertains to a portion of the movie that wasn’t in the books. Arwen was mentioned only a few times and really didn’t figure in the books as she did in the movies. Not saying I didn’t like how Peter Jackson portrayed their love story, but just saying that there was little mention of her. Nevertheless, I did love Rivendell and Arwen and Aragorn’s scene where this song was introduced. It was magical.
