We finished up the book of Colossians at church this morning with chapter 4:2-18. The pastor talked on continuing in prayer and walking in wisdom. He then finished up talking about all the people that are mentioned at the end. He spoke of fellowship and its importance to the Body. We can’t go it alone. We were made for one another to encourage and build each other up, to bear each other’s burdens.
Community Groups started up this evening and I got to ‘break bread’ with some special people. I am grateful for this body of beautiful, broken people. There’s nothing perfect about any of us, but I see the Spirit at work in each life and how He takes these broken lives and knits them together to create an amazing community and I am grateful to be part of that beautiful work.
