Glad it’s Friday. Busy week is giving way to a slower weekend—not much planned, may sleep in, then go see a movie with the fam… yeah, nice slow weekend. I’m going to enjoy the slower pace this weekend because next weekend will be anything but slow, but it won’t matter, I’ll be spending it with grandbabies.
Went looking for music that would help with easing into the slower pace of this weekend. Found this song from a favorite band from several years ago… the band, not the song. I shared one of their earlier songs in my last project. Just listened to their new album, which was released last year and from which this song comes and am enjoying it as much as the first album. I’ve loved their sound ever since I first heard of them from a friend who heard them play at her sister-in-law’s wedding. Yeah, they played at her wedding! It was a friend of a friend kind of thing and it was pretty cool and they are way cool. They have a washboard in their repertoire of instruments!
