Ok, so this is another song from Eminem’s latest LP, Marshall Mathers LP2. I shared a couple of his songs earlier this year, here and here. This one is a painfully touching tribute to a woman he has spent most of his career reviling, his mother, Debbie Mathers. The video was just released yesterday, Mother’s Day, though it’s definitely not the kind of song you want to dedicate to your mom… unless you had a similar relationship…
I’ve said before, I like Eminem’s music. It’s raw, but it’s real and, even though we don’t like to say so, it’s relatable.
