Can’t believe I haven’t written about Joss Whedon’s Much Ado About Nothing! It’s a Trifecta! Shakespeare, Joss Whedon AND Nathan Fillion!
I had the pleasure of seeing the movie at the State Theater in Modesto last August with a dear friend. It was delightful! I laughed and enjoyed all the banter and repartee that is Much Ado. Made a note to myself to buy it when it released on DVD in October, which I did.
I spent a leisurely day puttering about the house, light cleaning and sorting, windows open to a delicate breeze. Pandora was on as I puttered. Once things were put away, I decided to watch a movie and Much Ado was my choice. Perfect movie for the afternoon.
I even felt the urge to cook, which is an amazing thing for a woman who doesn’t like to cook. Lemon Garlic Soy chicken, garlic rice, steamed artichokes with a glass of my favorite wine made for an enjoyable dinner while I enjoyed this pleasant movie. Did I say Nathan Fillion was in it? Afterwards, I went out to the patio for a cigar and another glass of wine after dinner, it was that lovely a day.
I’m grateful for days such as these. And I baked a cake!
