Spent the day praising God for my new grandson, Rhett, and praying for his family. He's now home and everyone is adjusting to having a newborn in the house. Yes, it's challenging. Have been helping as much as I can to take on some of the household burdens while Mommy takes care of herself and baby and Daddy takes care of the two older brothers.
This evening, family was gathered at the house, eating, talking, laughing, enjoying each other as we took turns holding or watching the baby boy. I love this family and as I think of this family and the love that is shared and as I gaze at the sleeping face of this little boy and feel my heart breaking for him like it broke for his two brothers, I'm reminded that my love is so small compared to the Father's love for us. My love is ferocious for my babies, but it is nothing compared to the Father's love for them.
I am grateful they are growing up in a family that loves the Lord. Their mom and dad will raise them to know the Lord and my prayer is that they will grow to become men who walk with God. I love these boys.
