Chevrolet had a commercial on Sunday’s Super Bowl which paid tribute to cancer survivors and had this beautifully haunting song. The commercial pointed you to a promotional that said they would contribute $1 to the American Cancer Society for every purple profile of Facebook and Twitter, up to $1M.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, February 4, is World Cancer Day. I changed my profile pic on Facebook and Twitter to purple which is the color of World Cancer day which celebrates cancer survivors and reminds us that we still have a ways to go to beat cancer, but every dollar raised gets us closer to that goal. I ran with Team In Training for that reason also. So, wear purple tomorrow. Support the American Cancer Society. If someone comes up to you and says they’re running a marathon with TNT, support them and donate on their webpage. Let’s find that cure.
