Ok, so here’s how I came by today’s song. It started with an article I read about Pitbull’s song “We are One” being selected as the official song for the 2014 World Cup Soccer tournament which kicks off June 12. The article went on and talked about the song being released late last year, sung by David Correy. I googled the song’s name and found TWO songs by the same name but by different artists. I played the song by David Correy and it was ok… I then played the other song by Eleven Past One and I REALLY LIKED IT!
How come I haven’t heard about this group before?? (don’t answer that…) They released an album in 2010! They play their own instruments! They ARE Canadian… That’s probably why…
At any rate, I will probably post Pitbull’s version once it’s released because I posted the last World Cup songs, “Waka Waka” by Shakira and “Wavin Flag” by K’naan. In the meantime, I’m enjoying this song.
