35 years ago today, the music world lost some great talent. Lynyrd Skynyrd lead vocalist Ronnie Van Zant and siblings guitarist Steve Gaines and vocalist Cassie Gaines were killed in a plane crash that left the rock world reeling. I remember that day and that feeling of loss lingers still. This is my favorite song from the band and some great footage from the Day on the Green concert series.
