Ojala is a perfect way to sum up today. It, at the most basic level, means “I hope,” “I wish.” But on a more profound level, it expresses a strong desire submitted to God’s will. It’s root is Arabic, Insha’Allah which means “If God wills.” I love that. And so, I will end all of my endeavors today with this, now very personal, Ojala. If God wills.
