Ok, so here’s what happened… The grandbabies visited this weekend! That’s always a lovely thing, but, the room they stay in when they visit doubles as my office. My desktop computer is located there and being the newer computer, I tend to use it for most of my work searching for songs and writing my blog posts.
My laptop resides in the living room. Being the older, slower computer, it is used less for work and mostly for web-browsing. Now, when the grandbabies visit and go to sleep in my office early, I must rely on my laptop for my blog posts. It takes longer, but I’ve managed to use it with a little effort and post the daily song.
Sadly, last night, my laptop began showing its age. We’d come home late from visiting family and I needed to do some food prep for the next day’s family brunch at my house, so, by the time I got around to looking for a song and preparing my daily post, it was very late. I tried opening a web browser and it wouldn’t completely load. I closed the browser and tried again. Same results. I restarted the laptop and tried opening a browser. Same results. The clock was ticking and my poor laptop decided it was ready for bed and just wouldn’t cooperate. Midnight arrived and I finally decided it was time I went to bed… without posting the daily song.
The babies have now gone home and I have my office back. Heard this song and it reminded me of them… sorta. I guess I just liked the lyrics,
