She wrote it after reading a blog written by the mother of a young 3-year old boy, Ronan Thompson, who died after an 8 month battle with Neuroblastoma cancer. When I was training for the San Diego RocknRoll Marathon with TNT, one of my coaches said that one day, one dollar will make all the difference in finding a cure. Wouldn’t that be a wonderful thing.
