Hal David died today. His music, the songs he wrote, resonates throughout my memory. “Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head,” “What The World Needs Now,” “I Say A Little Prayer,” “Do You Know The Way To San Jose,” “Close To You,” “What’s New Pussycat,” and on and on, the songs just kept coming.
I remember this song and the musical from whence it came. This was the first musical I ever saw live and I remember it so vividly. I was mesmerized and dreamed of performing like that one day. I still dream of performing like that one day…
