We lost another great today. Marvin Hamlisch was an amazing musician and composer. His music was everywhere while I was growing up, on the radio or at the movies. He was truly a golden boy.
Though he wrote countless songs and scores, as soon as I heard the news of his death, I knew immediately what song to select for my selection of the day. And, in a way, it does tie into the Olympic theme… a bit. Anyway, this is for you, Marvin. Rest in peace.
