I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord!” Ps 122:1
It was good to be at church today. The fellowship and the message was sweet balm to my soul. We sang this song and it, too, was good. I love this part of the chorus, “You are stronger, You are stronger, sin is broken, You have saved me!” There are times when I stop and think in amazement that God saved me. Me. Now, the message of the Gospel is not about me. It is about God. But to think that God, through the Gospel, the Good News of Christ, the Great and Perfect and Holy God, saved me. It floors me. and lying prostrate on the floor, I cry out, “Let you name be lifted higher, be lifted higher, be lifted higher! …Jesus, you are Lord of all!”
