Ok, I haven’t really watched American Idol since Kelly won. I’ve watched a performance here or there, and I know some of the winners like Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry. Oh, wait, he didn’t win… but he shoulda. Other than that, I can’t really tell you who won from any of the other seasons, and I don’t mind not knowing. Zero interest… until tonight, when I heard Phillip Phillips (seriously?? that’s his name???) perform this song. Based on what I’m reading online, he should be the winner of this year’s Idol and after a performance like this, I am not surprised and am actually looking forward to hearing more from him. I loved this song and am glad I could find a video of the performance.
