Al Roker tweeted yesterday, “A little bit of my childhood died” with the death of Davy Jones of the Monkees. I so agree with him. I remember watching the Monkees in the mid 60’s and I loved the silly antics and the music in every episode. I had a crush on each of them at one time or another. Davy was the cute one, though. I loved watching him in this video, the shirt he wore, the way he danced… oh, yeah, I tried imitating those same steps. So long ago and now… gone. RIP Davy Jones.
