With all that's going on in the Middle East, I thought it timely to share this from a friend who ministers in the Islamic world.
Over the next 52 Fridays I invite you to devote 5 minutes to the cause of Christ in the Islamic community.
1. Take 1 minute to go to the Sharif Bible website, scroll to the bottom, click on the corresponding date, and download the one page prayer guide.
2. Read the one-page summary and take 3 minutes to reflect and pray through the content. Download and save the prayer guides.
3. Take 1 minute and forward the week's prayer guide to a friend or a member of your pastoral staff.
Resolve today to devote 5 minutes of the next 52 Friday's to pray for the Muslim World and promote this prayer initiative in your congregation.
Even though, we're well into February, it's not too late to begin. In fact, now is the time. Pray. Forward the information on to others. Remember, also, our brothers and sisters in the Lord who are there. Remember their struggles not just to minister where they are but even just to survive. Pray for their protection and strength to be light in that darkness. God is there. He is at work.
