I follow Justin Taylor’s blog, Between Two Worlds. For quite some time, he’s been writing about and sharing what others have written about Barack Obama’s stance on abortion and the painfully illogical decision by so many evangelical Christians to support him in spite of this stance. Obama’s supporters say he stands for so much more and can do so much more good than McCain. They say he is a good man and will do good things. If you go to Justin’s blog and do a search for “Obama” and “abortion”, you’ll see all the posts that have addressed this topic and reveal what this “good” man would do if he were elected President. Here is one, and another, and another, just to get you started.
The latest post by Justin includes an “imaginative dialogue” by political philosopher J. Budziszewski which I found quite persuasive. I’ve included the dialogue here, but go to the post and click on the link to the dialogue and read it there. Then watch the video. It is graphic and painful to watch, but please watch it. Cry for the babies. Then pray. Pray with me for all those who have been affected by this moral outrage called abortion. To be honest, we’re all affected. It is an outrage. And we can’t ignore it…particularly now with this election.
