That’s the basic logistical information for the first meeting of the women’s community group that is being formed at Redeemer. This will be an every-other-week kind of meeting. All are welcome (well… “all” as long as you’re of the female persuasion).
The first book we will be discussing is “Let Me Be A Woman”, by Elizabeth Elliott.* It’s short, sweet and to the point. I believe it will offer some good opportunities to discuss what it means to be a woman of God. We are faced with so many conflicting messages about womanhood; the world says one thing, the church says another. What I hope this group provides is opportunity to hear what God says.
